Boys hockey beats Brunswick

On Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, the Kent boys varsity hockey team had an exciting 3-1 victory over Brunswick, giving them a good start to their season with a 2-1 record.

After a slow first period, the boys came out of their locker room with a vengeance. Three goals in the second  – from Tommy Tanner ’17, Teddy Simson ’16, and Kyle Delmaestro ’17 –  gave them plenty of breathing room to beat the Brunswick team.

Captain Greg Krisberg ’16 commented that the game “was a good win but I think we could still play even better. The team has a ton of potential and seems to get better every day.”

“It was really exciting playing at home,” said Captain Satchel Clendenin ’16,” and I can’t wait to keep the good spirits rolling. ”

“I thought we played a really solid game on Wednesday. It was a lot of fun playing at home again, and we loved the support from everyone,” said Brian Kelly ’16.

But with that win now behind them, the team is already prepping for their Saturday matchup. “Strong start,” said Kelly, “but it’s time to prepare for Salisbury.”
