It was a January to remember in 2018! Thanks to the formation of an ice jam on the Housatonic, Kent School had to close and send all 570+ students either home or to stay with generous host families from the Kent Community. We all made quick travel plans, switched to remote learning — a challenge for all involved! — but, thanks to patience, commitment and a LOT of hard work by the facilities staff and administrators, we got through it. It was an unforgettable reminder of Mother Nature’s power, and what this community can tackle we work together.
