Every day, many students at Kent receive the highly-anticipated package notification email. Students go to the mailroom to collect their packages, where they are greeted by Mrs. Robin Mollica or Mr. Roger Whitmore.

Mollica is a native of Kent and has lived in the town since 1978. She raised her family here, and her grandson is close by as well. She keeps two dogs and a saltwater tank of fish.

This November marks Mollica’s third year at Kent. Before coming to Kent, she worked at Hamilton Book Sellers, shipping books to various locations. Mollica’s relationship with Kent School began when she heard from a friend that the school was in need for more staff members. She applied and was hired.

“I love my job,” says Mollica. Interacting with students is her favorite part of the day. She loves looking at the students’ happy expressions as she gives them their packages. She also enjoys working beside Whitmore.

Even when the school year ends and the mailroom closes for the summer, Mollica continues to work at Kent. When she is not in the mailroom, she works in the Maintenance Department.

During her free time, Mollica likes to travel. This past summer, she traveled to the Carolinas. And during previous summers, she traveled to Canada, Rhode Island and Florida. Mollica loves the close-knit Kent community and describes it as being like a family.
