Mrs. Kinsella, who currently works as a dorm parent at Hoerle Hall, joined Kent this year with her husband and five children. She and her family moved from Vermont. Looking for a community with more resources, educational opportunities, and diversity, she and her family chose Kent. They are excited to embrace the new experiences and foster a sense of community here.
As a dorm parent in Hoerle Hall, Mrs. Kinsella hopes to make a significant impact on students’ lives while also being the figure who can be counted on by others in our community. During her time at Kent, she wishes to build meaningful connections with the girls in Hoerle and other students at Kent. Mrs. Kinsella aspires to support and help strengthen students so that they can in turn be examples for her children.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kinsella loves to spend her free time exploring, trying new things, and enjoying food with her family. She is fond of arts and crafts, singing, and dancing. Moreover, she and her family are very passionate about volunteering and being involved at church.
Mrs. Kinsella’s advice to students before they graduate is to remember that you’re not alone. She said, “You have a whole group of people trying to do the same thing. Rely on each other and lift one another up. Don’t think there’s only one way to succeed or only one person can succeed. Share your talents, and help!”
