After the team’s skillful wins during their double matches, they continued to perform well against Millbrook during the singles matches. Browne defeated her opponent in an intense singles match 8-2, demonstrating strong returns and serves, which won the spectators’ loud cheering. Said Coach Ober, Weech “moved like butter” across the court; she won 8-0 with striking consistency in her returns. Turner’s confidence and dexterity secured another 8-0 victory, and Sonya Ayvazyan ’21 won a challenging match 8-3.

Coach Ober declared this game the best performance they have had yet in the season, attributing their success to their “tremendous talent and great work attitude.” On April 22th they will play their third game of the season against Kingswood-Oxford School at 2:30pm.
